MK8 is a bit overhyped imo
rather than 350% I think 200% is conservative
Consider that many Wii U owners bought a system in anticipation of the game (ala TitanFall/Halo)
Furthermore, I would argue that Mario Kart: Double Dash is more accurate in describing this games performance

So what you're saying is that Tolu's near 500% prediction is ridiculous.  What does this say about your wii u supplanting ps4 for at least two weeks this year though?

Hope for the best, pray for the worst.

Nintendo could've wait to release MK8 in the summer, but I really don't know what would help.

I expect MK8 to sell well, but I need it to move consoles above the PS4 WW, so it needs to be a hit in Europe

WD will boost ps4 and xbox one



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I think it'll be close, within 5k of each other, but that the Wii U will clinch it.

I can't see WD giving a boost to the PS4 of >20k, call that 130k
I can see MK giving a boost of ~400%, call that 140k

Essentially I see them both being with the range of 130-140K for this week, with whoever winning having a relatively narrow margin.

Week after I think we may see Wii U >175K

I don't think it will.

Looking at Amazon in the countries where the bundle is available, you can see that the bundle isn't exactly setting the charts on fire, definitely better than the Wii U usually does but still below the PS4.
