I held off on playing it because I heard it sucks.

To be honest, I do think Origins is less stellar than Asylum or City, but it was still a fun game.

Enemies are faster to hit you this time around (when you both go into the punch animation at the same time, the enemy will hit you first), which can definitely lead to broken combos and bouts of frustration when there's a lot of them. But other than that, the game does offer some fantastic moments, and there's one specific part of the game which ranks among the best moments in the Arkham series.

If you're a fan of the first two games, I highly recommend Origins, even if it doesn't shine as brightly as they do. At this point you can probably find it for a good price and it'll hold you over while you wait for Akham Knight.

For me I rank them as the following: City - 10, Asylum - 9, Origins - 8

What got me hyped for it was Deathstroke lol he's pretty badass. I guess i'll pick it up later.

So, if you take advantage of this, you spend $84 on 3 games (MK8, Free game, 40% off game) that would originally cost $180? Awesome!

I had already reserved the game at Target, but screw that when I can also get Super Mario 3D World for $36!

Might have to pickup Batman Arkham Origins. On sale already plus 40% off that is sweet.

But the Sears offer is better. You get $30 worth in Sears points with your purchase of MK8.

I haven't shopped at Sears in well over a decade... or two.

Buy MK8 and nintendo will give you a choice of WII U games to choose from absolutely free :)

i am thinking in something.
instead of giving games (or dont profit as much as they would profit with software), i wonder if they cut the price of wii u in the same proportion to the lack of profit they are getting by giving free games.
maybe we could have a250$ wii u...

Nah, as it cost more to make brand new systems than it does to give away old games digitally.
