IMO, it might help stuff ALOT. If we had X360, Wii and PS3 forums to discuss information, and restrict content to only pro-info about each, we can really resolve alot of issues. Wii fans get to talk in their forums, PS3 fans get a save place from PS3-bashers, and I get to be the only 360 fan in the 360 forum.

But the Spectacle!  It would do away with the Spectacle

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

LMFAO

Hey Ive already decided to purchase a 360 in july, after I move, so Ill be a 360 fan with ya!!!(guess that makes me a fan of then)

I just realized something, when I get the 360 I will have all systems, Does that mean if I don't like a game on one system that I need to start an argument with myself or the wall??oh great!

I think it's more progressive to have everybody together. That way, a Wii fan can still hear news about the PS3, vice versa. And that way, we can all participate in discussion, different sides to debates. I think if we had separate forums for Wii, PS3, and 360, discussions would die down too much.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I think sub-catergories for the gaming board at least. (for now)

And maybe 2 catergories for the off topic, One for anything (junk) and one for general (mature) discussion.

All together is better - no need to separate them IMO. Too often the threads about one end up discussing the others. Then again, if it would make (for instance) Sony fans feel more "secure" - then, sure, go ahead...

Honestly, the way the boards are set up now, I generally navigate through whatever's on the front page. If there are more users like me, then splitting up the forums won't have any affect on which threads are seen by which fans.

On the other hand, it might get some of the "VGChartz is bias!" guys to shut up.

I'm split...

would be nice if there's a clear indication if a thread is a "gaming" or a "sales" or "off topic" one.  especially on the front page--like fishamaphone said i pretty much only go through the "Hot Topics" on the home page at the current moment.

the Wii is an epidemic.

i would just like a bit more threads on the front page...may be 5 more?

I like the 360, I don't like the hardware, but I like a bunch of the games.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!
