Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

Well, considering it's being made by Visceral, it probably won't be broken day one.  Visceral is EA's best studio.  Also, how long did it take DICE to fix Battlefield 4?  Because SimCity gets bashed for being broken at launch but it's been working perfectly fine since a couple days after release and you have people who don't ever plan to play the game bitching about "EA this, EA that."

It'd be nice for EA to be mentioned atleast once without a flock of sheep immediately bashing them despite never playing their games or having zero interest in the game that's announced.   No offense to anyone who isn't a sheep.  Deep down you know if you are or not.  #dealwithit.

Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Battlefield 4 was a broken piece of garbage that I wasted $60 on. I'm not a "sheep" for being cautious about the franchise.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE COMING THIS FALL

On behalf of everyone at EA and Visceral Games, I’m fired up to confirm our next project – Battlefield Hardline. The game launches this fall and it’s a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love – the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.

Several years ago, I was at an internal EA meeting in Barcelona with creative leaders from across the company. It was there I met Karl Magnus Troedsson, the GM of DICE, for the first time, and we immediately began talking about games – I’ve always loved Battlefield and KM was a huge fan of Dead Space, which I was working on at the time. We started talking about different ways we could work together, different ways we could take Battlefield and action games in a new direction. It was then that this project that became Battlefield Hardline was born.

There’s been a lot of buzz today about Battlefield Hardline – we’re getting ready for E3 and fans found some details on our website about what we’re working on for the show. We’ve been reading all of your comments and we’re excited to be going into more detail soon on the ways we’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and more about how we’re bringing our strengths at Visceral to single player.

I hope you’ll join us for the official world premiere on June 9 at Noon PDT, and sign up for updates on the new game at our web site www.battlefield.com/hardline.

That's why I said no offense to anyone who isn't a sheep.  My comment was more about, people who bash EA games even if they have no interest in the game, have never played the game, have no idea what they're talking about, etc, but they still go to each and every EA thread and bash the company.  Which is around 80% of the people that attack EA on a constant basis.  EA screws up like every big publisher does, just that EA is the only one that is constantly berated.

You happen to be the one I quoted because I was making mention that Visceral games, atleast all the ones I've played, are never broken.  DICE made Battlefield 4.

This sounds like such a terrible idea I don't even...

i'm actually quite excited its not a military shooter.. Between Ghost Recon, CoDs, MoH and warfighter, BF3 and 4.. I'm pretty done with them..

Counter Strike, Grand Theft Auto, Pay Day 2, etc. etc. etc.

I'm actually hoping for a next-gen WW2 Battlefield game. We haven't had a decent WW2 shooter since W@W.

Not really the same games.. I mean Ghosts had like the same level on an aircraft carrier like BF4.. My gf even asked if i was still playing the same level like a month before..

Enemy Front releases in June.. WW2 game made with Cryengine3.. Previews look kinda ok..

I for one could not stand Battlefied 3 and 4. Awful campaigns and boring online.

Hopefully this one has a campaign as enjoyable as the BC series and multilayer at least be balanced and not running around for 5 minutes waiting to see someone/for a vehicle to spawn/to get shot by a sniper.

I still can't believe how much more fun both Bad Company games singleplayer campaigns were than 3 and 4.. Mindblowing how they screwed that up..

Bad Company 2 was my favorite game in the Battlefield series, playing rush was so much fun. After BF4 though, I just don't see myself buying another broken game.

As long as it's not broken then I can see it doing good.
