Well ,arguably any engine can run in any machine .....other thing is that it runs at lower resolution ,with no shader effects whatsoever and runs at 15fps .

Those are the responses SquareEnix will give as to why the game will, or will not sell well. THAT is what makes it a lose-lose situation for Nintendo. Your post is based on a misunderstanding of my complaints and I will leave it at that. I could give a shit about consumers. I am talking developer relations here. And mascot games or not, having DISNEY as the second half of your cast is screaming KIDDY! It is the most blatant kiddy (I will even go as to say main story line) game they make. Having it on Nintendo's console does nothing to encourage other third parties to try making diverse titles. And that is the biggest problem. Give us a series that will actually mean something and break down those barriers. I guess I should have been more clear. Sorry to waste your time like that. |
If you just mean S-E, they are already putting games that might be considered "kiddy" on the Wii, so they obviously don't have a problem with that. Hence, youre complaints are still wrong.

What you just said only further proves my point. And it seems, you did not even read everything I typed. Clearly, you and I were not on the same level to begin with, I take the blame for that, but to say that my complaints are wrong is crazy right now. My complaint is that I do not want these types of games to continue being the normal. You are saying I should not have that complaint? Yet later, you will probably complain about the content Wii has to offer. Clearly, this game would not create a positive atmosphere for Nintendo relations with not only SquareEnix, but all third parties, so why would I want it to happen? More than that, how can I be wrong for my opinion?
Please read everything I wrote again. I feel you missed my point here. As a matter of fact, nothing you have said makes any sense at this point. You might want to go back and try to refute my second post again. Now that you understand what I meant. Then, I can understand you better.

They aren't the normal, but a sign of the normal. Games like Chocobo's Dungeon and Crystal Chronicles King popped up on the PS1 and PS2. They were largely in Japan, but they were signs of S-E's (and their former selves) large fanbases, that they were willing to add niche games to expand.
If you want an example why this won't hurt the Wii, look at the DS. It has a Slime spinoff game or two, a Chocobo spinoff game (which sold as well as Dungeon on the Wii), and even a Kingdom Hearts spinoff.
By what you are saying, this would be a sign S-E has no faith in the DS. Yet then why is DQ IX on the DS? Because the system is selling well enough they know their fans will follow. Fans followed Final Fantasy to the Playstation, and that was just the existing ones.
So with the Wii's high sales, it's safe to say S-E assumes fans would follow their major franchises to the Wii, even Kingdom Hearts. So Kingdom Hearts would not make the Wii fail in S-E's eyes.

i realize this thread is 2 years old, but kh3 as a wii exclusive is not going to happen.
3 reasons, dont fuck with the controls of a button masher.
And, if your going to fuck with controls do it on the ps move.
KH series has 3 games in the 'works' one being kh3. kh3 is the big one and while the other 2 games have potential if you were going to get a wii kh it would be out of those 2 other games, not KH3.
there is not a doubt in my mind kh3 will be a ps3 exclusive.
IF KH3 ends up being any other combination other than a ps3 exclusive i will never come back to vgchartz again

So, you've never heard of the Classic Controller on Wii and your basing your membership future on VGC by the actions of a video game company?
Now given the above, I don't think many will put much validity into your 'it must be a PS3 exclusive' argument.

Well if that's true Square-Enix make some Wii games.

LOL so most peoples argument is " omg imagine KH with a wiiblade"!!! that gets shot down with ps move. all day.
But your argument is that they have the classic controller for wii as well, along with the 70 mil Wii's in homes.
which seems like peaches and cream. but its too simple you're not going to make kh3 have WORSE graphics than kh2. Im not sure if the Wii could pull off kh2 CGI scenes, kh3 is too important of a title in the series to have (and excuse my tonuge) gimmicky controls.
Again but, if anyone can make the wii look pretty it would be SE and so although somehow i feel the other 2 new KH titles will be on handhelds, if your ever going to get a wii kh it would be out of those 2 games.
Worse graphics thank KH2? Can't do the CGI custscenes of KH2?
How far down your throat are you trying to shove your foot?
