Complete shocker that Costa Rica made today. Only watched the first half of the game in a restaurant and Uruguay was on top of the game, even if they weren't dominating it.

Also Colombia played a very cohesive game. I'm really glad they started with such a good win and hope they can carry the momentum through the tourney.

Has nothing to do with this game, but Robben got a record yesterday: he now has the fastest run ever by a footballer. In the run that ended in the 5-1, his top speed 37k/h, the previous record was from Wallcot with 35,7k/h. If Robben would have ran 100 meters, he would have ran it in 10.28seconds.

Good game so far. They're both obviously very skillful. Too bad they're not using this skill and play a rather simplistic and antiquated style.
