No, not really, you guys were better until you arrive at the box. England should have been sharper in passing, shooting and defending. Possesion doesn't necessarily mean better. Defence of Uruguay was at a super high level though

Beaten by a combination of Suarez and poor decisions. They should've been down to 10 men and we should've defended better. Ultimately, after playing better than we have in years we are very close to being out.

Playing bad teams only loses you points, and obviously losing all our 3 games at the Euro 2012

For my money Suarez still wasn't 100%. It's just we were far too sloppy and gifted him chances (not all which he took). Still performed much better than I expected, particularly so soon after and 85 minutes in. Truly remarkable.

Italy won't make that mistake. Sure it's pretty much even but you've gotta have faith or Anfebious is in trouble!
