Germany completely failed to capitalize on any of their chances. It was fun to watch though. I'm torn between supporting France and Portugal. I don't know which team I want to win. I think I want both xD

Fucking referee destroyed this tournament for me. How can he steal the game like that? What a fucking worthless little bought prick.

If Portugal doesn't win (which FIFA won't allowed them to do) I will remember this as the worst tournament of all time after South Africa.

Lol, it was a clear penalty. It was the german players' fault that he couldn't keep his hands away in football.

But there was no intent, and the touch didn't affect the outcome of the ball, plus you could clearly see he was trying to draw the arm away.

Biggest scandal of this tournament. A bought referee destroyed our party.

Congrats France! My prediction was right again, o/

I don't know about the final... France is the clear favorite due to a much better campaign, a better team, etc. But Portugal seems to fight with everything and might have a chance as well.

It will be a fun final to watch for sure, and I guess I'll root for France because they deserve it more after beating Germany.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

lol. A funny game. I hate France, but I am happy to see Griezmann scoring twice, he looked too broken after the champions league finale, that's how you make a comeback.

A penalty or not, Germany didn't score. Terrible defending and goal keeping. Wtf was that, Neuer? you ain't that great after all

When you have to draw the arm away, it's too late. What the fuck was the arm doing there in the first place?

Nope, not the referees fault.

Belgium - Germany will be indeed an amazing final

He should not have raised his hands above his head while defending in the penalty box, because a boll can easily be deflected that way.
Judging whether there was intent, or if the deflection affected the outcome of the situation or not is complicated, and can be very unclear for the refs to see. That's why you don't defend with your hands above your head. Every one knows that. Also, depening on the league/tournament, there doesn't need to be any intent. That's why defenders often have their hands tucked behind their backs when defending a shot.
And this is a UEFA tourney btw.

Very hard for the ref to see? He didn't blow the whistle until after 20-30 seconds. The other refs hada conference and phoned him the decision. Players play with hands over the shoulders all the time, it literally happens hundreds of times in the box during a game. There was no intent and it didn't affect the play! This was a bought goal.

Yeah, yeah UEFA or FIFA. Both are corrupt to the bone.

This is always my nightmare when we go into the big tournaments. Always the fear that the host nation or one of the big 4 will get a decisive advantage by the system.

What a time to be alive, germany fans complaining about being robbed !!! Now you know what other teams feel when playing vs germany

BTW it was a clear penalty , this is hilarious xD

I'm not a Germany fan lol.

To me it would have been almost as bad if Germany had won.

I'm just upset because I don't want us, the audience, to be gamed by this archaic hierarchic system who always favors the big nations. I want to see the players decide it by themselves. In such an important game you just don't blow the whistle for such a minor thing, an honest ref never does that. They almost always would let such a situation pass in normal games. But since it was such a big moment for UEFA, the semis, so much money at stake, they took the chance to let the big powerful nation France as hosts advance.

(Obviously in UEFA Germany is just as strong and favored, so if the situation was reversed and Germany were the hosts, they'd do the same and let Germany advance to the finals).

Griezmans on fire,
Your defence is terrified!!

Glad to see them win.

Very interesting final now. Host nation France vs Portugal and Ronaldo who desperately want a major trophy.
