Great result for saints yesterday. :)#

Yeah, because it would be guaranteed that Man City, that colossal club with a very rich history, would beat Wolfsburg or Benfica. I hate Benfica, I support Sporting Lisbon, but I really hope they can manage somehow to beat Bayern. That and the current Premier League standings being the final ones would be the best thing to happen to football in a long time. I hope we get Manchester City in the Europa League again and they lose to a small team like Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United out of the UEFA competitions, and the passion fueled Leicester City be champions. Too much money will ruin this sport.

I'm not saying they will actually Benfica or Wolfsburg but I wil support the local club in this case and that's Man City, yet they'd have an easier time against those 2 than anyone else is all.

It's a shame also that Atletic and Barcelona have to meet now, would have been a cool semi.

Hmm, pie.

Johan Cruijf has passed away

RIP Cruyff :(

I hope City fail to get the final CL spot and West Ham sneak in.

Fuck this money buys you everything attitude. City and Chelsea failing at the same time would be glorious for football.

At this time, the winners of Le Ligue are worst team in that scenario.

RIP Cruyff, one of the biggest figures in the history of football.

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Cruyff was one of the best football players of the 20th century.

I guess no VGC member saw him live in stadium or on TV when he was still active as he retired in 1984, but I followed the rise of Barcelona to European fame in the late 80s and 90s under Cruyff as coach (rivaled and ultimately overshadow by AC Milan under Sacchi and Capello).

The late 80s to mid-90s was generally a great time for Dutch football. Finally European champion in 1988, Cruyff a top and influential coach in Barcelona, van Basten/Gullitt/LamaRijkard at Milan, Ajax internationally successful again and almost as strong as in the mid-70s when Cruyff led them to three consecutive European Cup wins.

An outstanding player and coach, an outspoken man.

R.I.P. Johan.

Down 0-2 before the 13th minute :D

Let's hope Roy actually sticks with the young players and doesn't automatically throw Rooney back into the mix.

Milner can stay at home too.
