Anti Aliasing. It's what we call the act of smoothing out the jaggies caused by games being made from squares (which makes circles/angles a tad difficult :P)



This would be a basic comparison of AA on and off. I can explain the different types of AA too if you like (there are several different methods of achieving the end result, with different qualities and resources requires) but it's a somewhat boring subject to anyone not interested

You haven't seen the screens they've been releasing of this game have you, I'd be more surprised if they said there was AA!

Wooooowwwww. Not buying a game because of this tripe?

Just enjoy the fucking game for what it is for fuck sake not what it isn't. I find it disturbing that people will actually cancel their preorder after seeing this news?! The desire for perfection in every aesthetic is truly permeating all areas of society not, even gaming! Well I've got a tooth gap and a slightly too large nose and I can still be loved so I'm sure there are some who can still love this game and how it looks.

Thanks for the info man!! I play my games with my tv switched to PC mode, and it smoothes out the jaggies too.

Welp that sucks but people should have seen it cuming since the visuals looked sooo damn good... The wiiu isn't made out of some magical fairy dust that can compete with the ps4/x1 in terms of power but what it does have is a developer that knows how to make the most out of very little which is why Mario Kart 8 just lools soo damn good even though its not running 1080p... And I do prefer 60 fps on racing games so I m glad Nintendo took fps over res for mk8.
