I'll be honest with you: Valve is a big stick in the mud for me recently. I know they're trying their best to optimise the things they do, but I just feel like I'm losing interest in them. Nonetheless, they still make amazing games (once they make them :P) and my favourite series has to be Portal. I liked Portal, but I LOVED Portal 2. Great stuff! It feels original, well made, and the replay value is extremely high. The ability to make custom test chambers is a superb feature!

I'm gonna say Half Life.

I was considering Left 4 Dead, but I'm kinda bored of that style of multiplayer.

Portal! I think Half Life is overall a better series, but the writing and story telling in Portal 2 were absolutely incredible. The fact it was an amazing puzzle game too was just the icing on the cake.

The only correct answer is half life. Everything else they touch is dog tripe. Which is really strange 2 me because half life is one of my favourite series

Gotta go with Half-Life. I've logged an insane amount of hours on Left 4 Dead, but Half-Life is just too good. Especially 2, which is in my top 10 games list. It's a masterwork.

Though I do have to admit that personally I find Valve massively overrated as a developer. I don't much care for most of their games.
