I will show how much it doesn't make sense. 1 - I tell you that you can't compare cars and console, because cars have a hell lot of constraints. 2 - I tell you that design of console still change because it matters to make a new product. It's the same or not ? What are you talking about ? Why a fan is a constraint but not a regulation on a seat you have to comply to ? I'm telling constraints matters. And constraints on controls and screen for the psp vista limits design make it similar even to the game gear. That's what I'm also telling about the iphone. Do you believe in the force of gravity ? You give your background, I'm programmer and studied logic and mathematics. You are absolutely outside the scientific notion of proof, and outside logic. You don't understand the concept. Again, do you believe in "if A doesn't do B, then A proves B is insignificant in other case" ? That's plain logic. Proof is hard to make outside of science, most writers would not . If someone could prove "new design are irrelevant", there would not be a single new design. Except for constraints. That car don't have, according to you. About English, I will not provide personal information for proof. By the way, if I can't understand and can't write English that makes sense, what are you answering to ? What are you talking about marketing ? You seem to believe it's a self-explanatory silver bullet. Why would companies spend on product development if it was ? Same shit again with a superb marketing, does it work ? Can you blame the product for a bad marketing ? |
Once again, you fail prove to your point.
1. No, you claimed that I did not provide enough examples to distinguish my factual statement of how in this day and age; design has become irrelevant as companies only make minor changes while providing an assortment of features as the selling point. So I added the auto industry and proved that although they have the ability to be much more creative, for the past while all designs have seen little change.
2. Yes, there is absolutely no way the current Xbone hardware would have fitted in the shape of the 360. If it could they could have provided minor implications like Nintendo did for the Wii U and it would still sell the same amount as it currently has.
You are asking questions that are for the most part irrelevant to the discussion. What the hell does the regulation size of a seat have to do with anything we`ve discussed. You’re completely going off track with this one. Stick to the main part of the argument thank you. I will briefly respond by saying due to being able to move the seating at different levels and different distance between passenger and driver, the only constrain is having the actual seat, again, if it is driving on the road.
Terrible example. This was not very well thought out. Explain why the 3DS and the DS do not even remotely resemble the gamegear. Who said Vita needs buttons? Sony could have gone touch for all of the game play or they could have implemented motion control. Different screen sizes or make it similar to a tablet but they didn`t. This is the current trend in electronics and other industries that you are failing to properly observe (even though it has been pointed out to you numerous times)
Well wherever you went to school, clearly the education system failed you because you’re not applying any logic to this argument and when addressed in regards to this you jump to a different subject matter. I have a degree in business marketing. I am aware of trends and the psychology of the casual consumer. You’re also misconstruing my words. The Wii U is a newly designed console. The Apple iPad iterations are newly designed. The fact of the matter is that drastic design is irrelevant, there will always be minor changes which is enough for the general consumer to distinguish as long as there is sufficient marketing of the product to distinguish the difference between the old product and new. I have proven this to you by providing examples. It is not my problem if you do not have the capacity to understand this.
Yes your English at times is hard to understand, which is why I advised a lot of your paragraphs do not make sense. I am responding to what I believe you are attempting to say and ignoring the rest.
Product development is mainly focused on the internal parts and making them work accordingly. The product itself has to be appealing to the consumer. I never said there were not bad products out their but the Wii U is not one of them. Minor changes in the actual design of the product are acceptable to the general consumer if the product has sufficient new features and is marketed accordingly. If we were to use your logic then alot of electronics manufacturers, etc would be bankrupt.

Wii u is a very confusing name.
It's too similar to the original name Wii.
Sales would be much higher if the console had a different name.

I do believe you could do that forever, it doesn't even take you time to think.
Trying to convince you makes no sense, I stop.

Pardon Moi? It does not take me time to think? Well if there ever was a definitive case of the pot calling the kettle black, you sir just gave the perfect example.
I provide you with reasonable counter arguments that pointed out the numerous flaws in your logic by using factual examples. Instead of responding appropriately or conceding , you either ignored them because you could not refute what I had stated or went on one of your infmaous rants, whcih if I may add were all over the place. The picture below paints a very accurate picture as to how you have conducted yourself in your comments.

With that I bid you adieu.......oh and one last thing, CHECKMATE!

Kind of like the United Kingdom. If the United Kingdom would just use a different name, then people wouldn't confuse them as being part of the United States all the time.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
Yes, Wii 2, Super Wii, any kind of normal name.
But no, some highly paid stupid marketing fuck had to come up with this bullshit to earn millions. And screw the system.

Super Wii probably means something VERY different in your slang.

It is actually funny how everyone in this thread is like "A normal name like Wii 2". I still remember when everyone was like: WTF is this name? Wii?????
