God no, no more dwarf Link. More Hyrule Warriors Skyward Sword Link please.

Both are ok, I think?

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

They should do what MGS did and make "Old" Link.

That would be effin epic. There are way too less games with old protagonists.

It's not helping your argument to show badass adult link pics.

And who exactly would send a child to fight ultimate evil? lol

I don't care. He can be young, adult, or old. The artsyle can be realish, cell shaded, black and white, heck it can even be claymation. As long as it is awesome that is all I care about. I am even excited about the hyrule warriors. The one piece games made by omega were pretty good so I have faith they won't mess up.

Zelda isn't about being "bad ass" or "cool." It's about going on an adventure.

Disagree. There needs to be both. Zelda as a series has strong themes of growing up, particularly in the child timeline. Not surprising, given that the character design was in fact based off Peter Pan.

I could go on and on about this, but the games are all about personal growth. Also, "adult" Link is a teenager, so he's still young and still has a lot of room to grow. They've yet to make a truly adult Link. I'll admit, I want to see Young Link back too, but not like you describe. I have no problem with Toon Link, but I want to see a 3D Young Link in a non cel shaded art style again, and for the character to become popular and appear in Smash Bros. and what not. At the same time, I also want to see a truly adult Link, like early 20s maybe. I'm not sure how they could do it, because you wouldn't want to start the game at that age, as it goes against the theme. I have some ideas, but whatever, Nintendo will do that on their own time if they want to. For now, I'm content getting a mix of kid aged and adolescent aged Links, and think both are an important part of the series.

As for it being the worst game in the series, I sincerely doubt that you've played all the Zelda games if you think that. It had its flaws, but it's not the worst game in the series. I've played it twice through, while there are Zelda games I struggle to sit through once. I still haven't finished Phantom Hourglass. It's very easy, but it's a chore to get through. The Four Swords games are too simple for their own good, and only good when you feel like having a Zelda themed grindfest, possibly with friends. Zelda II was fun, and not a bad game by any means, and I wouldn't place it as worst, but I'd certainly put TP above it. Heck, as classic as the original is, I still think TP is an improvement in some areas on it. Oracle of Seasons was my first Zelda game, and holds a special place in my heart, but I can look past the nostalgia and see that TP is better overall, though both were obviously fantastic. You can't just hate on it for being "dark and gritty" because quite frankly, it wasn't. Majora's Mask was darker, and that's my favorite in the series (and it has Young Link!). The graphics weren't realistic, as they still had that fantasy look to them. I guess it's not as bright as other Zeldas in terms of the color palette, but it's no brown shooter. Getting all hung up on dark gritty visuals is no less petty than being like the people who get all hung up on cel shaded visuals.

Edit: I like both Young and Adult Link, but I voted for adult just to spite you :P

The CPS

And Link is totally badass. As a child and as an adult. It's just a bit more believable as an adult.

I'm not sure my body could handle a Zelda game with an art style akin to Journey's.
