Forums - Gaming - Good Guys CD Projekt "We'll Not Deliver Exclusive Content on Any Platform".

Marcin Iwinski spoke to Eurogamer about CD Projekt Red's stance on platform exclusive content. Microsoft and Sony have been battling with each other to gain an upper hand in any way possible and one of those ways is to shell out extra cash to a game developer in order to acquire exclusive content on their system. This could come in the form of timed DLC, exclusive missions, or costumes.

When Eurogamer asked Iwinski whether consumers can expect platform exclusive content, he responded:

"We are treating all gamers equally. We'll not deliver exclusive content to any of the platforms, nor will we artificially delay release of the game on any of the platforms because somebody's paying us money for that. It's definitely against our values. We are not doing that."

Thank god! If the Witcher 3 had exclusive shit on a particular platform... I would start losing my mind! Its probably my most anticipated game of 2015 so far

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Ohh... was hoping for a timed-exclusive beta on PS4 with timed DLC on Xbox One and an Infamous costume for Geralt on PS4 to have more fun with the 30 minutes of extra content which will be a great counter to the Xbox One + The Witcher 3 bundle.

How don't they see that what Sony and Microsoft try to achieve is #4theplayers?

What a bunch of scumbags. Not all gamers are equal, so I don't see why PS4 owners should get punished for buying a superior system.

Finally, someone who gets it!

Good, I guess. It's not like having exclusive content is that big of a deal either way.

I'm pretty sure they will bring the highest resolution exclusively to PC.

when microsoft and sony start competing for exclusive content, you know you wont always get it, no matter what platform you own. this way you get to play everything.

exclusive content is better than making a full game exclusive though, but still, i dont like it.
