Yup, I just did a quick search and to my surprise there seems to be no way of manually downloading software updates :(

Things would be much more easier if I actually was able to install the game on the HDD.

But I think this is the only 360 game that can't be installed. :(

Your disc drive may br starting to go. My PS3 gets crazy if someone puts a movie in, and then itwont play games or any disc until i give it a good smack. Then it plays everything normal.... until a movie gets thrown into i again.

Works for me because i can deny people making excuses for wanting to use my stuff for bluray.


Get a new box or go digital.

I pretty much doubt that's the case, considering I can play 99% of the things on my 360, including movies.

I thought it was odd you saying that you had no option to install the game so I went and checked on my...... friends.... copy of the game, But you're right indeed that is the first Xbox360 game I've seen from disk which has no option to install it. Ya think if they have the option of making games uninstallable then they woulda done it for the GTA5 "play" disk to stop idiots installing that and messing up their game.

But aye my system hung for about 10-15 secs before starting up the game, standard enough for my launch model 360 with a game from disk but it still works so it wasn't some patch thing from XBLA that messed it up, must just be 1 bad scratch on the disk you bought, just took out a main security file or so, Just take it back see if there is another copy in store. Sorry Wright.
