Catastrophic for Nintendo? Yes.
Catastrophic for gamers? Not necessarily. Some people really, authentically like the Gamepad.
Catastrophic for you? Very likely yes. Sound as if you value raw power more than unique/niche game experiences (tbh that's the case for most gamers too).
