Super Mario RPG on the SNES is the best RPG of all time.

Do you think people only like LOD because it's exclusive? 

Morenoingrato is enough of a con for me. I'm glad I never supported such a game with terrible values.

I think if I wrote an unbiased review, my pros would look just like yours, OP...

I'm in the minority that loved The Last Story and didn't really care for Xenoblade.  Maybe I'm missing something.

No.  I think Nintendo fans state Xenoblade Chronicles is the best RPG ever because Nintendo purchased Monolithsoft and it's a first party exclusive game.  Same reason Nintendo fans praise Monolithsoft as being the best RPG developer, which not once did you ever hear them make that statement until after they became first party, not even when there were exclusives on Nintendo consoles from the developer like Baten Kaitos, Soma Bringer, Dragon Ball Z Attack of the Saiyans, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier, etc.  It wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo fans started praising Xenosaga 2 at this point, despite how bad it is just so they could hold onto their claim of Monolithsoft being the best JRPG dev. 

Imo, most of the JRPGs recently wouldn't hold a candle to a lot of the JRPGs from the SNES/PS1/PS2 era. I mean, I love Xenoblade (other than the weird love-triangle thing they tacked onto the game), but games like LoD, Breath of Fire 3/4, Suikoden, Grandia, and the older Final Fantasies are all better. 

Also, I think it's an amazing game, but if I was to ask what people thought of Dirge of Cerberus, 9/10 people would probably say it sucks because of how hated it was back then when journalists and Final Fantasy fans alike bashed it because it was different.

I wonder if telling a Nintendo fan it was a Monolithsoft title would get them interested. It was developed by Monolithsoft btw.
