Same situation with Wolfenstein New Order. I'm really worried that those two games will turn real shit.

If the game is bad, Uplay usual day one fuckup will be the final nail on the coffin.

Ubi would've been better off not saying anything at this point, rather than confirming a review embargo.

most reviews come out 4-7 days before release, nintendo i notice for big games always come out 2weeks before. Does anybody else do that? 

Anywayz it doesn't necessarily mean Watchdogs will be reviewed bad, but it is kinda a bad sign pushing it back all of a sudden ( especially when the embargo was releasing 4-5 days before launch)

I'm not defending Ubisofts decision or saying this game is worth waiting for because honestly I don't know. I rarely judge games before I myself actually play them, no matter what reviews say. However if reviews are poor I usually wait a little before buying it, for price drops and bundles. But, maybe they just don't want anyone spoiling the game for the masses? I mean they put a lot into this game, lots of hype around it, I'm sure some of this is money related but maybe we should just wait and see?

GTA and many other games have a day of release embargo these days, its no biggie.

I think gamers are generally fools when it comes to reviews. I mean some random crappy site no one has heard of gave it 7.5 and they are bemoaning the game as crap... i mean seriously it's pretty rediculous. I mean if people are worried about the game they as you say, should just wait and see, but this constant, fred from site A only gave it an 7 or 8, not buying this crap is just stupid... it doesnt help that the press act in a similar manner sometimes (Mafia 2's 4/10 springs to mind). 

I've stopped listening to reviews for about 5 years, if its a game i am interested in and it doesnt look trash, i will get it day 1. The only game I've made a mistake within in the last 5-10 years was Aliens Colonial Marines, and to be fair I knew within about a week before reviews that it was going to be trash but purchased it anyway.

Why some people put their faith in a few peoples opinions I dont know. This game will get anything from 6-9 I reckon, it will average around 7-8... so who gives a crap... is it a game you would play, is it a genre you care about, does it have gameplay that you will find interesting. If so you might like it, if not, then no 10/10 is going to make you enjoy the game more if you dont like open world games..lol.
