You are missing some games, just by casually looking at the Metacritic list I see more 80+ exclusives.
Also, Metacritic seems to be missing quite a lot of games, they either don't have 4 votes or are completely missing from the list.

point out the ones that arent multiplat/ports/remakes/ indies and i'll add them :)

Dragon's Crown is a multiplatform exclusive for the PS3 and Vita.

I think if you're specifically talking about ports or multplats on say, PS3, 360, and Vita, then sure, but if it's an exclusive only to Sony consoles and it came out at the same time, it should be fair game for both.

I wanted to do more so of these threads for appreciation of that single system. Your statement holds strong but this thread is really for that exclusive only vita game (like i did with the first two threads for 3DS+WiiU).

If i do one then i must do all. Thats why i didn't include many wiiu games with 3DS ones (such as MH3G).

Cuz if i do the ps3 thread (and hopefully more) then i'll have to list them games all over and imo wont be 100% exclusive (though your right and vita seems like a special case).

Also let me kno if a game was vita exclusive at first cuz that counts here Ex: RE Revelations was a 3ds exclusive first before being a console port!!!

but still, no idea why this list. Basically discounting games because Sony wants them on as many of their platforms as possible makes no sense. There are plenty of games that are Sony platform exclusive and if you want to play them on a handheld, that's still the only handheld you can play them in (like guacamelee or dragon's crown, Spelunky, etc).

but yeah... anyway...

that's fair enough, you can make the 'study' you want, but it won't be a comparison of apples to apples. the main point from Sony was to get a handheld that was powerful enough to run many games that the main console could run. So basically if Sony decided to get all those games you mentioned on top on the PS3, then you'd say Vita has no exclusives?

the way I see it, to get a real overview of the handheld, you should definitely compare it to it's competitor. For Sony it doesn't matter if you buy Sly Cooper on the Vita or on the PS3, they make the same money and in many cases you get the other version free after buying one.

Well we all know that vita games routinly get dinged 5-15 points for being on vita instead of 3ds.  One only needs to look at the fact that only 2 of the games that are released on both 3ds and vita are actually rated higher on vita.  The fact that Fifa soccer 13 or Batman Blackgate are rated ~ 10 points higher on the 3ds is a complete joke.  Same thing goes for Virtues last reward and its game breaking bug that only appears on the 3ds version.  It only makes sense that the same would apply to 3ds/vita exclusives.

Setsuna, thanks for helping out, it's a pain to navigate Metacritic on the phone.
And I agree that discounting Sony exclusives on home consoles is bad, because in actuality is is the exact same game able to run on 2 or 3 systems at once. Heck, some even offer cross-save.

Vita has many problems, but a Metacritic score surely isn't one of them.

no problem, I just think the Vita gets an unfairly bad reputation. it has some issues that would definitely be sorted out if the install base was bigger, but it's a crazy good piece of hardware and I spent a LOT more hours on it since I bought it than on any other console (3ds, ps3 and ps4 included).

every week without fail new games released on the PS store... it's impossible to run out of games to play. and ps + on vita just got me more games than I can even spend the time to play. PS Now will be insanity :)

It is so true, I play Vita daily, and PS4 sometimes stays turned off for a whole week. I have such a huge backlog of Vita games, and am afraid to even look at the release schedule for the second half of the year, there's about $500 worth of games I really want to get.

Pretty disappointing if you ask me! I wonder if the Vita will ever get a 90+ exclusive!

I'm disappointed these threads have become another bastion of "indies don't count!", but I guess it's going to be a long, uphill struggle for people to overcome that stigma.

Depends on what score you'd say was a bad game?  It's playable, not bad, but certainly not good.  I'd say if you've played it, you'd agree that you wouldn't be upset if you missed purchasing/playing it.

Oath in Felghana is absolutely my favourite Ys game out of the ones I've played (Origin/Oath/Seven/Celceta).

That said, Celceta is far better than "playable; not bad but not good".
