Pokemon Crossing. I would buy a second Wii U for that, I swear.

@bolded . Still amazing to me that Excite Truck on the Wii was a launch game and like... it must be one of the only games that allows you to play mp3s from the SD card while you destroy some amazing looking tracks. Why they avoided that feature the wii had so much is beyond me.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

They would need to try pretty hard to ruin the game honestly. Considering the battle system has aged pretty well, it's just a matter of giving it glorious HD graphics.
And would a direct sequel even fit on the game? I'm not sure, I'd rather have a prequel first. That'd be awesome. Then make "LoD2" a la FF, taking place in a different world.

Sega's "Panzer Dragoon" for Wii U. Sega and Nintendo became mighty close.
Final Fantasy Tactics 2.
Suikoden 6.
Fallout 4 announced with a new engine.
A new, big budget Valkyria Chronicles.
Torchlight 3.
A full fledged Onimusha game.
A new Bushido Blade.
And, finally, Bloodrayne 3.

If Final Fantasy Tactics 2 got announced I would jump for joy. 14 years later and still wishing for it.
For a bomb to go off inside a Sony executives head and paint the walls in 1080p brain matter.
'because resolution is sooooooo important"

No, just no. That's FF mark, LoD doesn't need to copy it. |
Well, in this alternate world where LoD got a sequel and it was successful, the series would continue. And it can't keep spawning direct sequels forever, it will have to use different settings and characters eventually. And FF13's plot ended in the first game, the sequels shouldn't exist really. Granted, I haven't played them, but I doubt I'll enjoy them as much as XIII.
So a FF approach seems like the best solution really, after a prequel. At least a Zelda approach.
