Forums - Nintendo - My fellow Nintendo fans, are you happy with the way Nintendo is handling the Wii U?

The Wii U is failing because...

...it is a piece of trash. 60 21.90%

...Nintendo isn't doing anything. 149 54.38%

See results (secret vote for option 1). 63 22.99%

Total:272

I'll give Nintendo a 6'4/10 so far. Maybe after this E3 they can raise a few points.

Or get the score even lower.

That's true, but second consoles don't typically hold second place by that virtue alone. I'd love to see the Wii U pull through though.

You're right, but I don't think it will become a matter of purely being so. The Wii-U won't be that bad for the standard consumer if Nintendo play it right game wise and start pushing a relationship with the 3DS. The real reason I see the Wii U and Xbox One as competing is because both are kinda in ill-repute and if either solve that, which I think both are working on solid but totally opposite plans to do, things will get very exciting.

Well last year they didn't have the games that we wanted.  You can't compare last year to this year.

They are doing a terrible job from a commercial point of view, however they are doing a stellar job of appealing to me as a gamer. The game library is already decent with plenty more on the horizon, the gamepad is the best controller ever ( this is coming from a gamer who has played most major systems over 30 years), the console works as it should and benefits from regular hardware updates. The only problem really is that Nintendo have failed to comunicate to the masses why this console is unique and worthy of a purchase. In fairness they have also got an uphill battle to change peoples perception of them as a company.

So far, Nintendo has a pretty OK-ish job with the WiiU! I would be slightly happier if they would announce a new Star Fox game!

Yeah Star Fox is probably very low on the priority list

And this year they have the games we want? You have some informations I don´t?

I agree with the OP

I just hope there won't be a "Wii U is not our future" anytime soon.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Somewhat disappointed in the slow release schedule, but my available gaming time is drying up somewhat as well, so it balances.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I honestly cannot think of a reveal more anticipated than the Legend Of Zelda U reveal? Every single fanboy of every single console will be waiting as the sony and xbox fans will wait and see if there is even one tiny thing wrong to post on here trashing it however they can, while Wii U fans are waiting to sing it's praise to the heavens. There is also that small amount of Nintendo fans that will not like the direction the series is going and fans of the other systems that will be truly impressed but those will be few and FAR inbetween but the impact of that single game is going to be massive.

Honestly is there any game at all that comes remotely close to getting all 3 system's fans hyped?
