I actually dont think either GPU's can run Crysis at full spec at 1080p 60FPS.
The 7770 in the X1 certainly cant even come close.
But considering that this is a console and not a PC I might be wrong :/
I don't understand why this happens now. Couldn't the camera just be disabled when playing certain games that need the extra processing power? It's not like we haven't seen similar things before. Some Vita games would disable WiFi to help with batterylife if I remember correctly.

so if people use kinect then game will not work at best, so whats the point of kinect thats been sold to 4million people. Shouldn't they use kinect while gaming? If they did game performance will be down by 10%. Should developers treat kinect is connected or not for developing game as base.
So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.
PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.
Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.
Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.
Well, so what about the people that still use Kinect while in-game? Really, they are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
You're Gonna Carry That Weight.

Lowest common denominator. The worst of two worlds, they will assume the system has a kinect but they will not take the time to add the features, at least until they are certain that the non kinect models are in the majority.

These constant rumors about magic hardware in consoles needs to stop
Makes me wonder how the 3rd parties will handle this:
Situation 1: Use the 10% extra Power and Not allow Kinect (Will this auto disable kinect on the Kinect connected systems? Will connect come back online only when the game is off?) MS has said Kinect can run without the extra power from the Console itself, but what are the limitations of that?
Situation 2: Use Kinect and not the extra 10% of the Power. If Kinect isn't integral to the game it should be fine (sort of like some games that are available now that you do not have to )
Situation 3: Very unlikely, but allow the 10% extra power for gamers not using connect AND have some Kinect abilites in the game? I cannot see MS allowing this, there is no way they would have 2 different "visuals" on their system from the same game.
I foresee a good bit of the Kinect integration into games not specifically created for Kinect/requiring it, going the way of the Dinosaur. Still not sure what to make of the decision and just hopeful it works out well for the gamer.
To me XO at this point is just purely an inferior PS4. It has no special feature and is flat out inferior, which won't change over time no matter what they do. The console is becoming more and more of a mess with every passing month. It doesn't look anything like what they were designing it to look like, while the PS4 has a clear message, it is exactly what Sony intented it to be. The worst thing though is that they still can't undercut the PS4 in price :/ Crazy.
Still, I'm not sure if I ever wanted an XO with Kinect, so all in all it's better this way. I might get one in a couple of years, when the price hits 100-130 Euro to play the few exclusives, so the cheaper it gets, the better.
Cause while I can't imagine a Wii U without the GamePad, I haven't seen anything done with Kinect that would make my experience better, hence all in all - a it's a move that makes the console a complete and utter mess, but will probably make the console more attractive to the hardcore gamers.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
