That said, Im buying the game day 1 with and going in with low expectations. Just wanna kill some nazis thats all. .

Please don't pirate it, if you dont want to pay for it then dont play a pirate of it. It's not fair on the company or it's employees who have worked hard on it.

I thought Game Informer said the patch was an untrue rumor? Were they wrong?  This game looks completely amazing.  I hope it is at least decent.  The original and Return are total masterpieces.

Seems like Nintendo is the only one that isn't afraid of ending embargos early these days, Ending an embargo on the day the game comes out makes the review kinda useless, at least for me

Most people on Gaf are saying the prologue during the war (1st section of game) is super weak, and the game becomes excellent right after that...Apparently there are lots of easter eggs, secrets, and stealth is an option for most of the areas. Everyone also seems to be saying any of the first 3 out of 5 difficulties are too easy at least in the beginning of game, so crank it up.  Screenshots of the map also appear to have throwback "I might get lost" style level design, from what I saw.  I also heard the 20 hour length is only if you want to find every single thing and 100%.  Actual gameplay is 12-15 h.

It looks like any other shooter I really don't see why people are raving about this one.

One thing wolfenstien does really good is the gun play. I know people will say COD or whatever, but its not like that at all, its really weird and satisfying. If its anything like previous entries the crazy story and the amazing gun play will make it stand out. But we shall see, i suspect it might be a bit of a marmite game.

that 5 GB patch, what the hell are they thinking?

5GB patch? Mario Kart 8 is 4.9GB, what the hell man?

Once I see some more impressions I will either skip it or buy/rent it on PS4 or X1
