Should MS allow Voice commands through headset

Yes, Voice Commands for all 27 69.23%

No, Keep it a Kinect exclusive feature 11 28.21%

Total:38

I dont have a xbox one, but for my 360 a head set would be useless for the commands. the reason i like the voice commands is there is no need for me to have a controller in hand (a head set would just be something i need to grab and use, so why not a controller than). In fact the main reason i want an xbox one now is os i dont have to use my tv remote to turn on my tv and to turn on my xbox by hand. it will be nice to say xbox on, netflix, and play 1 .

I am surprised that it isn't available already. I use the Kinect, but I would have thought that it would work without it using the headset.

THey will enable it, just a matter of time. I would think they could sell a "audio sensor"/microphone for $29 or $39 as an accessory if they wanted...

It is near the end of the end....

No because then people would see right through their veil of innovativeness.
They would realise that half the hype behind kinect is basically because its got a headset mic stuck into it and is just using same old ancient voice recognition technology.

They either need to allow basic commands without the Kinect, or change the interface of their system entirely. That thing is a mess without Kinect voice commands.

I want to see if they change it when the kinectless X1 comes out.

And they better allow headset voice control for the release of the kinectless XB1!

If they don't, I can't imagine the irony of the sitution and the salted threads everywhere...

This is a feature the Xbox One should have already had.
