3ds XL cause its for the manliest of all men

Also the larger screen helps with the 3d and the screen wont get scratched as easy since its a flip thing and it has a bigger battery

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If for no other reason the XL because you can close it and keep the screen protected while not in use. But either is a good choice.

3DS XL. Trust me on this, the screen is infinitely better.

i like both, the only good thing about the XL is the large screen, while the 2DS has a better grip and it also feels much sturdier, it's just so comfortable to play on compared to the xl.

Take it from a person who owns both, if you want a bigger screen go for the XL, but if you want comfort go for the 2DS

Well, what do you want to do with it? Is it your main system? Or just a second 3DS for something else?
I'd normally go with the 3DS XL, but 2DS saves you a lot of money!

I've heard differing opinions on it. Many people don't like the blockier feel of the 2DS.

Also, another huge factor is that the 3D effect is much easier on the eyes on the XL compared to the normal 3DS, as there is more room for head movement without disorientation.

With the normal 3DS, the slightest shift in your head while playing can mess up the image, and thus cause disorientation.

I've had the same discussion with myself. But my purchase is for my 8yr daughter.

Only reason I'm considering 2DS is its cheaper and less likely to be damaged... but I don't think she'll damage it in reality, the 3DSXL is a more full featured machine as at least she has the choice with 3D, and there are better color options. So considering I can likely find one for around $120~$130 used... I'm still leaning 3DSXL.

I'm waiting for E3 to see if there is a redesign with better battery life or something before I decide.
