You are also keeping a look at it to see how long it will take for the OP realize his mistake? You may need to stay looking here for the next couple years. Maybe even following a X2 will overtake PS5 thread rebranding.

Its only 500K back and now with the price reduction and better holiday lineup than the PS4 for USA gamers it could happen as early as next year.

I don't know how you can be so confident when its only been 6months into the generation

It's 620k as said by others and have been growing ever since the beggining (baring December) with all X1 supporters claiming all month that X1 had the better exclusives and the price wasn't a problem and everyone wanted a Kinect.

On the TF month were a lot of fans hoped for a 2:1 against PS4 they got outsold for a considerable margin.

The only change from before is Now you can avoid buing the kinect with X1 and have a MSRP of US$ 100,00 less, but this is a drybone SKU against a X1+Kinect+FM5+TF (for 450,00) two of the best games by supporters opinion. SO what you think have changed? And none trackers, nor even MS have show MS to win the week of the "pricecut". The only new of X1 selling better than PS4 came from BenVTiger, that stated that at Gamestop X1 is marginaly outselling PS4 there, but the other retailers have PS4 above it... So I would expect both to be 100-150k NPD and that won't help X1 to catch up much. Sure we can wait for the next months.

But you want us to wait to see, because 6 months isn't enough to say PS4 will win USA, but the complete lack of information in X1 favour is enough to guarantee it will overtake PS4 because??? Oww yes, because hoping to be right is the same as facts.

For the USA Halo MCC is bigger than anything the PS4 has. Sunset Overdrive is a great looking game that appeals to gamers of all ages. Forza Horizon 2 appeals to arcade and sim racer fans. How is that niche? The holidays are where most of the years sales are done so it doesnt matter much what happens in August.

Do you really believe that Driveclub and LBP3 which is not a exclusive will outsell MS's exclusives?

Forza Horizon is not exclusive. Neither is halo. Also, do you expect SO or FH to outsell Smash or MK? I don't. But I expect XB1 to outsell wii u... So... Yeah....

First of all, it's about 620k back, not 500k back. Second of all, whether the X1 has a better lineup than the PS4 is debatable since it depends on the type of gamer. Lastly, depending solely on the holidays is never a good idea and what's more important is to maintain consistency. The PS4's lineup for the rest of this year is evenly spread out and appeals to a wide variety of audiences. The X1's lineup, on the other hand, adopts a more niche strategy.

Forza Horizon 2 is also not an X1 exclusive. The MCC acts more of a filler that keeps Halo fans up to date before Halo 5 comes out while in contrast, TLOU Remastered caters to the non-PS3 owners who never had the chance to play the game. Sunset Overdrive has not gotten much notice and new IPs tend to have "meh" reception from the Xbox community. Look at games from last gen like Alan Wake and The Lost Odyssey as good examples of that.

X1's lineup is niche in that it's really dependent on the shooters and action games. PS4's lineup, on the other hand, caters to other audiences. LBP 3, for example, appeals to the gamers with wide imaginations as well as the younger gamers. Guilty Gears Xrd -SIGN- appeals to fans of fighters. Natural Doctrine appeals to the JRPG fans. And of course, TLOU Remastered is coming out next month for the survival/horror fans who never had to chance to experience the game. Factor in Destiny and Planetside 2, the PS4's rest-of-the-year lineup covers 5 genres as opposed to just 2 on the X1.

Whatever X1 has for the rest of this year, the PS4 has something of its own to counter that and then some. Because the PS4's lineup appeals to a much wider audience, the combined effect of its games will exceed that of X1's. Halo MCC, alone, won't save the X1.

At least x1 has Europe to fall back on. That's where many x1 fans claimed would be the real battleground, and that NA was an absolute given.

DC and LBP3 are on a console that will be double the user base of X1 by Oct.  Them out selling the X1 exclusives is rather easy to see given the user base of both and the difference they sale on the weekly monthly basis.

Halo will outsell those both in USA.

Halo proved once and once again that it can sell a lot.

LBP doesn't have much success in USA, most people prefer FPS in USA.

Are you even trying or that is the limit of your comprehension.

Halo will probably outsell DC and LBP, but point is they are there and just like ISS countered Titanfall, those games will counter Halo.

Saying LBP doesn't have success in USA, and then saying people prefer FPS is USA is complete and utter baseless ignorance with no facts to back it up.

Typical Drill post, -3/10.

Halo 5 will have a huge success, sure. But MCC is only a remake. The Halo 1 remake didn't sell that good. The numbers where okay, but not really good for halo. So why should MCC outsell new titles?

That's true. Halo MCC has the unfortunate timing of launching after a true next gen bungie game that's not an old rehash. The depth and audiovisual quality difference will be immense. The core Xbox fanbase will buy MCC, but like titanfall it's not going to bring the masses at all. I also think the value comments are misplaced, someone can buy 10 old games for $60, buying 4 rehashes for $60 that are outdated is not exactly a bargain.

UK not Europe, Europe is PS land. UK is where the favor is Xbox.
