Drill, do you still believe the op? If yes, lol. If no, I'd ask for the thread to be locked. In fact, I would just ask anyway

Agreed. You are indeed the voice of reason. I think it's safe to say this E3 will have huge implications on the OP's theory, which so far has proven to be untrue since according NPD Xb1 hasn't been able to outsell Ps4 a single week this year and that gap only seems to be increasing. This is an important Pivot point for MS, if they fail to deliver then we may be having a similar discussion this time next year of whether or not it will be possible for MS to close the gap with Wii U and eventually outsell it instead of Ps4. Which would likely be so far ahead that there would be no logical way that it could catch up in a single year. I have faith in MS tho. They will surly bring the house down and make this a tight race again. They are against the wall and if there was a time to do it that time would be now.

I checked Amazon again and the PS4 remains in the Top 10 (#8). Meanwhile, the Kinect-less SKU sits at #55 and we're only about two hours (eastern time) from its release date. It's safe to say that the SKU isn't going to give the console such a large boost after all.
X1's fate rests on how MS does at E3 relative to Sony's conference. MS can do well, but if Sony outdoes MS like last year, then the X1 is in trouble. For X1 fans, you need to hope that MS does a heck of a good job tomorrow. Not only that, MS needs to maintain consistency in Gamescom, Pax East, and TGS. People tend to refer E3 as the Superbowl of games conferences, but it is merely the first quarter of the contest.

No doubt there is some interest for the dis-kinected SKU in the US, but it appears there's no interest in the UK.
The TF bundle is #18, PS4 is #33 ( not sure if there were some stock-issues, but now it's climbing again ) , and the Kinectless XB1 is #567.
There is also some interest in another bundle # 184, XB1 + Kinect + TF + Assasins Creed 4 with the same price as the TF-bundle ( £ 389 )
That's $ 654 / Euro 478, prices in the UK/Europe are including VAT

This is most likely because the new SKU can only be considered a deal in the USA. Lower priced Kinect-less model is pointless in Europe, as the full-featured console is already selling at a price equivalent to PS4.

The Kinectless SKU is priced at £ 349, just like the PS4, see http://www.amazon.co.uk/Microsoft-Xbox-One-without-Kinect/dp/B00CM1KUVE/ref=sr_1_6?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1402304990&sr=1-6
Bundles with Kinect are priced at £ 389.
In the rest of Europe it's 399 Euros, again the same as the PS4.
