Finland is mostly included because of it being a neighbouring country to Sweden and close past relations to Sweden.

Well since EU prices are around 20% more expensive than US prices when you already add 20% VAT/sales tax to the US price (without its 35-45% more expensive in the EU) 20% is way to high for most states since it ranges from 0%   with 4% in Hawaii etc to 10% etc. but lets just say its 20% in every state then EU prices are still 15-25% more espensive)

I'd say the US gets a pretty good deal 365 days a year. So I see no reason to "thank" NoA.

You basically get a 20% discount on every game every day.

Hmm, Scandinavia originally comes from the Scandinavian Peninsula, which includes Norway, Sweden and northern Finland. Culturally we include Denmark as well, and usually Finland. Iceland isn't included though.

I guess I shouldn't fight history about a place with someone who live there. It's just that I grew up with the knowlage that iceland is part of scandinavia and even mueseums I've been to say it's part of scandinavia.

I've seen school books saying that Australia and Oceania is the same thing. To my knowledge this is bullshit. 

 

Geography is often something that get's mixed up, because when your not living there yourself it's easy to just say "eehh fuck it, it's the same thing." Justlike the whole Holland vs. The Netherlands deal, the people involved are usually proud and also much more exact, at least in my experience.
