I've seen school books saying that Australia and Oceania is the same thing. To my knowledge this is bullshit.
Geography is often something that get's mixed up, because when your not living there yourself it's easy to just say "eehh fuck it, it's the same thing." Justlike the whole Holland vs. The Netherlands deal, the people involved are usually proud and also much more exact, at least in my experience.
