So far,..

  • dropped the always only DRM
  • changed publishing policy to allow indie self publishing
  • removed kinect's manditory status
  • updated XBL policies to allow entertainment apps without a live subscription
  • modfied Games for Gold to be a rental service
  • earlyl gen price drop to match the ps4

so what's next?

...personally i think MS are going to get rid of that parity clause. the number of indies announcing as not on xbox is overwhelming to me. i don't think they can not do something about that.

There's nothing left.

At this point they are identical to PS4 with the exception of raw power and 1st party offerings.

Guess by this holiday we'll see some crazy price/bundle wars going on between the two as that is all they now have to compete with.
