Ok so worst case, its on par with PS+. Best case its better.

It's better once Microsoft gets consistently great games on there.

Even then, PS+ gives you access to free games for 3 devices, that's 6-7 free games a month if you own all three, which is certainly possible.

As you can see from the sales, not many people own a Vita though, let alone Vita, PS3, PS4 and PS+

True, but at the rates the sales a big portion of PS4 owners will also have a PS3, which is already 5 or more games per month, even without the Vita.

You can also "buy" the games even if you don't have the console, in case you decide to get one later on.

that anime in your sig, I cant quite place it, is it called magical index something something.

ot, ive read on another site that you can keep them, cant remember the site though so cant link it.

A Certain Magical Index (Toaru Majutsu no Index)

**Free Games Offer: For paid Gold members only. On Xbox One, active Gold membership required to play free games you’ve downloaded. Must download titles during designated window. Kinect and/or hard drive required for some games.

seems much more direct and clear then "yes".

If they make GWG a permanent ownership service we will probably never see them introduce a proper instant game collection like PS+, which would be a shame.

Imagine using the free 14 day trial for PS+ on the PS3, downloading PES 2014, Stealth, Remember me, Payday 2, Brothers: two sons, Bioshock: Infinite, LBP Karting, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Unchared 3 + that months title, then letting the subscription run out.

Getting to keep of them for free would be a hell of a deal that's for sure

You need to ask if you can play the free games while your subscription is expired.  Of course you can keep them, but you wont be able to play them again until you resubscribe.

MS' pr nightmare continues with their 180s. Though this isnt nearly as bad or important than prelaunch pr was

I think he meant you can keep them after that month is over, not you can keep them when your gold runs out.

I get to keep my PS+ games after my sub runs out too. I won't get to play them, but I'll get to keep them (as in, they won't automatically erase from my HDD). Greenberg is the master of spin for MS. This is the guy that, during the 3.9M sold fiasco, he reiterated over and over again that he "knew the industry terminology and didn't ship 3.9M. We sold it". I'd rather trust the actual fine print given by Phil Spencer, the guy making all the changes and Head of Xbox, over this spin doctor.

gegroy may be right in that he means you can keep them downloaded but not play them.

It doesn't change the fact that you could get those games if you own all three consoles and PS+ though.

That's what I'm thinking now too
