No because there was still 2 models. The people who wanted to pay 500 before the 60gb came out could have bought the 20gb and the people interested in spending 600 still only got another 20gb on top of the original 60gb. If early adopters got shafted then so did the people who bought the 80gb, 120gb, 160gb, 250gb and 320gb because there is a 500gb out for the same price

hey, look at you proving my point for me. People paid the same price... but got more later? hmm, certainly sounds like the eary adopters got screwed. Plus, you are ignoring what a price cut is. 60 gig model was 600, then became 500. Does that change in price not matter because they came out with another model a month later?

You really dont see the reason why some early adopters would be pissed?

No, I do not see why any early adopter would be pissed. Its the reason you are a early adopter. For people that purchased a X1, with the knowledge that sales were not that great, why would you be pissed. If you did not have the patience to wait then the only only person to be pissed at is yourself.

Reason I have not bought a X1 or PS4 is because I can easily wait. Nothing screams purchase me now from any of those consoles. I personally will wait until Christmas when the deals come out because neither system has anything coming until that time which would make me drop 400-500 bones for the pleasure of a incomplete system.

Early adopters aren't always super informed. Case in point my girlfriends little brother is 14, and his parents bought him an X1 last month. They have no idea about which console is "struggling with sales" or "has more exclusives coming". They got it because their son (who also doesn't follow this stuff) wanted one. They will sure as heck be pissed off to find out that a $100 price drop was announced a month after they bought one.

Now my story is clearly anecdotal and isn't a measure of the X1 install base... but so is anyone saying that they aren't pissed.

More on topic: The game is on now, E3 will be interesting

Wasn't it $450 in a lot of places already with kinect? Pity it wasn't dropped to 350. I'd think about it then, but I couldn't afford it just yet at that price anyway. Probably wait til 300.
