Forums - Gaming - What is the biggest meltdown in gaming history?

You think wrong, because I don't like FPS or multiplayer and was happy that my friend that have a X1 could get a game he likes... so I don't see a reason to your comment or even to think it was a meltdown... It's more your dreamyfull wish to make you feel better that other may be jealous of what you have.

Not really! I'm not a flashy person and jealousy of others don't augment my joy.

I'd be happier if they can share my views.

FF13 going to 360 was an absolutely hilarious meltdown, pure comedy gold.

This dumb person were already posted =] but I'm certaing there are other people like this around here.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Bayonetta 2 going to Wii U was also a disproportionately big meltdown considering the franchise isn't exactly Final Fantasy or COD in terms of sales.

Gotta be XB1 reveal. No one actually thought MS was going through with it and those who did frequently said Sony was just being mum on it because they were going to do the same thing. After that Sony E3 conference the meltdowns were incredible. I'm watching E3 with my friend literally with our jaws dropping and laughing at every policy reveal and then the price was just the knockout. No one could believe how definitive and direct they were with their message and some hardcore Xbots were converted. Then that Amazon poll with Xbox losing 22 to 1 in ratio before being taken down. Then Don with his INFAMOUS "just buy 360" policy for servicemen. The single biggest swing in marketshare in E3 history. We're still seeing the effects of that meltdown today with Sony leading.

As most humans that love that others think like them because they think they are right and know more... Or just because if more tought like you X1 would sell more and you would love that... I still don't see how that connects with me can't stand X1 having TF or the meltdowns it allegedly created...

I would say it not selling 3M X1 on less than 1 month as some expected created more meltdowns than just it being exclusive to X1 have created meltdowns. Watch the video that curl posted and you will see a meltdown. What you think is a meltdown was nothing at all, actually bungie leaving MS were a lot bigger than TF and many X1 followers said Destiny would suck just because they were pissed of bungie leaving.

Was a niche and hypocrite meltdown... how can people complain about it going to WiiU since that was the only way for the game to be released since a lot of people didn't bought it originally (but since WiiU is in low sale I wouldn't doubt it being temporary exclusive).

I haven't watched the whole reveal because I had no interest in the console... but here in the community the comotion was certainly huge... and we still have people that believe Sony wanted to do the same and waited for MS to show first and be burned and them made the 1st day patch to remove it (no one have found this code on the patch yet).
