And if anything could happen what do you think would create the biggest meltdown?

Nintendo going third party. Nothing else I can think of even comes close to the butthurtaton that would be.

What about if Sony sold the Playstation Division to MS? I think houses would burn down if that were the case and riots would happen

What would happen if the King and Queen of Vapourware releases?? The Last Guardian, The Agent and FF XV Versus (since we won't have XIII-Versus).

And about moneyhatting (off-topic), Sony have several stocks on Square Enix and didn't blocked FF XIII going multiplat so I don't know why people keep on thinking that Sony moneyhatted everything they could during PS1 and 2 eras.

That would be hilarious. I don't think anything can top a Nintendo scenario, though. That's 30+ years of history. Even as someone who stopped caring about Nintendo a long time ago, I'd be kind of shaken by it.

This is a problem only if you have just one job.

I can't believe Sony said something like that XD

Bad PR isn't exclusive to MS =]

I didn't said Playstation closing off... I said Sony in its entirety just pluff.

Nintendo not being dead yet is like [the volcano that keeps on erupting | the gift that keeps on giving].

Well... Nintendo and MS both doing bad numbers have gave us some epical moments... but since most here say that the site is dominated by Sony that isn't even near the size of meltdown on PS3 fimsy beggining.

For me, the biggest one was Rare being bought by Microsoft, and subsequently ruining them, for which I'll never forgive them, and indeed that and every Final Fantasy switch up were the biggest ones I can remember experiencing among the gamer community, but from my personal experience, I have NEVER seen as big a meltdown as the Xbone reveal fiasco. I honestly can't think of anything that compares to that. I mean I'm still more pissed about Rare, but for the industry as a whole, that was definitely the biggest meltdown.

And if anything could happen, I'd say the biggest meltdown possible would be another gaming crash, resulting in all three leaving the industry, and no one taking their place, forcing everyone to switch to PC and mobile gaming whether they like it or not.

You are a pessimistic man on your all three out =] I like it.

And the worst part is that Ninty had enough money to buy Rare and keep them great.

Final Fantasy going to PS1 and Final Fantasy going multiplat.
