The least surprising gaming news of our time

Not if you read threads here about the sales of the first one. Apparently they're so patheticaly low and such an epic failure that EA is apparently too shamed and embarrassed to give out the numbers and yet.. multiple sequels.

Link me 1 comment saying it's sale are "pathetically low" ^^ Go on, i dare ya.

TF was certainly a success in its own right, but it's pretty obvious it didn't hit everyone's expectations. I still have that 2.5 million thread tagged :P

Well if people expected a 95 meta and surpass COD peak sales for a console thats only 5 months old......they are going to be disapointed. What the reality is, while below that of the hype, is still one of the best selling titles of the generation with very decent legs given it is one of 3 versions.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Really? I don't recall anyone here saying that EA was too ashamed to release numbers.

Didn't see that massive thread where people noticed how quiet EA was where as Sony quickly announced Infamous sales? People.......jumped to conclusions

Are you flamebaiting your own thread by mentioning an exclusive Sony title in a Titanfall thread?  DON'T go there and keep your head on straight.

Or maybe TF failed to meet expectations but Ea can see a bright future for a full game that will get a release on the highest selling console.

As i said, TF was a success in its own right. I'd say the X1 version just about hit some of its expectations (prob not EA's), but the game itself didn't. I'm just asking J to find me one of these supposed comments about how it's sales have been "pathetically low" ^^

It will be interesting to see if the new COD will hurt TF's future brand strength. It's an awful lot more similar to theme to TF than the previous COD's.

Well no surprise there.

What? No....that was the thread. People compared EA's quietness to Sonys openess and assumed EA was quiet because they were disapointed. Geez.

Or maybe you failed to read The last hours of Titanfall.

EA didn't invest much on a game that has sold close to 2 million on X1/360/PC.

It got it's money back. Titanfall sold more than Battlefield 4 after 2 months on X1.

Then again you called the game a failure on the games comment page. Go figure.

Another one? J_Allard, you might as well save everyone the trouble and make a TitanFall nation thread.

You should know my stance on Xbox exclusives and Titanfall specifically by now.
