You are correct! But....

The difference for me: The reason I was uber hyped for the G/S remake was because it had been like 10 years since I had like played the original G/S... And I always loved the 16 gym leader concept...

With this coming in Nov it'll only be like 6 months since I played emerald... I will get reguardless, once I finally get my 3ds next week. But the timing isn't as perfect as heart gold/soul silver.

With that said.... I would LOVEEEEE for them to add new areas like in Firered/LeafGreen. That'd be epiccccccccccccccc. 

I'd be hyped for an original B/R/Y remake on the 3ds..

Except that they advertise it as "new adventure". Sounds like they want to sell it as more than it is.


You certainly wont be playing it on the gameboy advance, so it is a new adventure. Albeit very inspired in the previous game.

They will likely use 3D models like they did in X/Y so no need to worry about the sprites...

New adventure sounds to me too much like new story.

I highly doubt they would take such a huge step back and go back to 2D, it should basically be a guarantee that any pokemon game after x and y will feature 3D.

Wish they would have done something else instead of again going back to older Pokemon titles again.

Oh well, I still haven't finished up X or Y anyways, so I still have some Pokemon to worry about for now.
