Ignore if you were being sarcastic.
The way I see, they need to change Iwata and his teamwork as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the changes won't show until years later.
Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever
Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe
Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor
Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile
Would probably work fine if the American was more Mark Cerny than Rob Ford.

As long as the person has a good Nintendo spirit his nationality isn't an issue. It could even be Reggie on top and be good for Nintendo's relations with 3rd parties.
After all, most Japanese devs already appreciate Nintendo, so an American(and especially Reggie) could very well be profitable for Nintendo.
Didn't that happen with Sony? Why should anybody care? Unless this "American" is internally trying to destroy Nintendo from the inside in hopes that Microsoft will succeed because he's all about American domination.

We are talking about the Head Office in Japan. Their home land.
