Ghost Games has officially confirmed that there won’t be a Need For Speed game this year. Not only that, but the development team has also confirmed that it’s working on the next NFS title that will be released in 2015. 

“We’ve made the decision to not release a Need for Speed in 2014, so we can work towards a highly innovative Need for Speed in 2015. An experience built on a foundation we know you’ll greatly look forward to.”

Probably a smart choice. There only seems to be one team working on NFS now (rather than 3 like they had at one point last generation).

Still haven't played Rivals. It doesn't really appeal to me all that much, not sure why. I'll probably pick it up when it's at bargain bin prices.

i tried rivals on the ps4 and platinumed MW the yr before didnt like either, i liked 2005s most wanted and the undergrounds the most

i like the street racing scene and fully customizable cars i really liked the pursuit breaker and speed breaker that they introduced in 2005 MW it made cops chases really fun i dont know why the feature was removed after undercover

Not a shock, after all first EA gutted Criterion (basically dead after the founders left with only 15 people there) to staff Ghost Games which less than 5 months later EA then also guts with massive layoff.

gives me plenty of time to play rivals then,sounds like they won't make it cheap on PSN digital though
