Nintendo registered a series of “Advance” trademarks in Japan last month. “Advance”, “Advance Series”, “Advance Touch”, and “Advance Push” were all filed for on April 4.

Wat is this??? Advance Wars. Advance 3DS? Will we something at E3? Speculate >_<

I imagine this is either related to the Quality of Life platform (Advance Health? Advance your health with Nintendo?) or Nintendo' next handheld(The Nintendo Advance?)

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

It must be Advance Wars related. The series is huge in Japan, with installments as far back as NES.

Given that there already has been a Nintendo 'Advance' hardware product, I doubt they will bring back that name out of sequence for a hardware item.

Of course this is wishful thinking on my part to some degree. I'd buy the game instantly on 3DS, or buy a WiiU early for it if it were a U title. The SNES game is pretty awesome.

They will probably related to ports from the GBA/DS to the 3DS or from the GC/Wii to WiiU, hence the "advance" thing, for improved.

Also, they will be released (hopefully for a lower price and) under the same "family" of software like Nintendo Selects, that's where the Advance Series comes in handy.

I was with everyone assuming it was probably advance wars games, but then wouldn't "wars" be in the trademark?

Suddenly I'm think its new hardware as others have speculated: 3DS Advance, Nintendo Advance etc
