Sony has trademarked a new PlayStation logo
Sony recently filed for the registration of a new and interesting logo at the Japanese Patent and Trademark office.
The logo, which you can see at the bottom of the post, looks like a PlayStation logo wearing a pair of headphones. Below you can find a translation of the trademark notice.

Classification: 9 (electronic applications, machinery and other parts thereof), 38 (telecommunications etc.), 41
It’s very hard to say what the new logo could be about. It could be a multimedia app, or a new line of headset for PlayStation consoles, or even a certification logo for the compatibility of third party headsets.
The only real hint e have is that it’s somehow related to games, as class 9 and 41 are applied to gaming and online gaming respectively.
We’ll keep you posted if anything else surfaces about this.
