So for people who are expecting Level-5 to announce a new game during PS Experience, you guys will have to wait until E3 2015. Akihiro Hino apparently wants to make a game more epic than WKC.

How epic was White Knight Chronicles? I remember it getting panned critically

I would say that the multiplayer portion of WKC was epic. Singleplayer, not so much. When Level-5 released WKCII, they released WKCI alongside the sequel with all the gameplay improvements and it played a lot better. If Level-5 is going to make a spiritual successor to WKC, I hope they do well at both the singleplayer and multiplayer. Otherwise, Ni No Kuni 2 or Dark Cloud 3!!

A spiritual successor sounds better than a straight sequel.  

But I would rather Dark Cloud 3 or Ni No Kuni 2.  Ni No Kuni was great, and although I missed them at the time, Dark CLoud/Chronicle seems like the kind of games I really like.  MAybe that series has been dormant for too long at this point though
