Sony must be saving the big guns for E3. |
I hope so. Kinda have the feeling MS will blow Sony out of the water though. Wouldn't surprise me if they have opened their cheque book a few times over the last few months. Wouldn't bother me too much if they had bought some third party exclusives, because I plan to get both eventually, but still would prefer not to see it happen

Sony has a lot of studios working on unannounced exclusives. Media Molecule, Sony Santa Monica, Guerilla Games, Sony Bend, London Studio, Sony Japan, House Marquee, and others I can't think of. I don't see amount of games being an issue here.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

They have a lot of exclusives in development, but I think Sony needs one more big game this holiday. Driveclub and The Order against Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Masterchief Collection and possibly Forza Horizon 2 is a mismatch right now. They probably will have one, I just hope it looks awesome.
Neither Sunset Overdrive or Quantum Break are even confirmed for 2014. SO is very likely, but QB not so much.

DLC and third party always blow Sony out of the water... and OH HALO.
Seriously though they have never presented a better E3 other than 2006. MS can not pay for any significant third party games.
I dont expect much from either, but Sony already has the Edge because they do not have to do much right now.We see how last gen went.

I'd be amazed if Quantum Break releases this year. I'm fully expecting a delay. I agree though that Sony needs a big game for the holidays. Maybe a surprise announcement of LittleBigPlanet 3? Been a while since we got the second one.

ok, guys how about we do a prediction for what will be announced at the event? we make predictions and for every right announcement you got one point, after the show we see who gets the more points.

Sony Bend may be doing a new Syphon Filter game, with the tagline 'Kill Strain' probably
'Entwined' sounds like a Media Molecule game, and they have been rumored to be working on somehting utilising Morpheus so that may be a long way off.
Guerrilla has a new sci-fi IP
Guerrilla Cambridge is definitely working on a PS4 game, but they may just be working with the main studio on the new IP. Hopefully that isn't the case and they are woring on a new IP.
Team Siren are doing Gravity Rush 2 for Vita, and I'm pretty sure aren't big enough to be working on anything else.
Foster City have only ever collaborated on games, so it is unlikely they will be trusted with their own thing at a time when Sony are cutting back staff at more experienced studios
Polyphony and Sucker Punch won't be there I'd imagine
