I'm glad there are new cars for the PS4/XB1/PC versions. But this is a car from GTA IV, which they could've easily added to the original game. Rockstar really knows how to play people.

Also, who here is really excited for the First Person option of the game? For me, it's an obvious gimmick to attract people into the game again while there are still no news about the heists.

For me, a shooter in first person has to have better shooting mehcanics than a third person shooter.  The feedback needs to be slightly different, and if Rockstar have not altered it, I have a feeling the gunplay will feel worse in first person.

it doesnt make a difference if they added the car or not. they had tons and tons of content, and the game was doing so much maybe they didnt have enough memory and juice to place more cars? it doesnt matter, i dont see it as playing us because they stuffed the game with content.

as far as FPS mode, i am really started to get excited for it because i think it will add a nice twist to the game. dont get me wrong, i want all future GTA games to be TPS games first and foremost, but this is really a cool feature. so why not?

I played it last-gen, and I've already preordered this gen's version, but the reason is not some extra cars and definitely not the FPS view.
I just really like the game, and am a huge fan of the series...

I actually prefer third person view in most games, and all of my favorite series are third person (Resident Evil, GTA, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Gears of War...) so I will not even bother with this novelty...

I have heard about the lack of memory theory, yet I'm still reluctant about that. it's like the perfect excuse to release the game into a next-gen console and tempt people to double dip. That's why I see Rockstar is playing with us.

The FPS thing seems... interesting, but it seems pretty off for a game like that. They've said that there were a thousand new animations for weapons, and that's alright. But what about the player movements? The most recent FPS trailer doesn't convince me. Transitioning from the TPS animations to the FPS animations by changing options from the menus seems too good to be true. But that's just me.

I'm not confirming anything, but is this true? This looks... dubious.

Sucker Punch’s Unannounced New Game Will Still Be “Open World” with “Diverse” Characters

There have been signals out there that Sucker Punch is currently working on a new project, and a new career opportunity ad seeking a Narrative designer recently published by the developer serves at the clincher.

''Sucker Punch is looking for a temporary Narrative Writer to help create engaging and compelling narrative content for our upcoming project. Daily tasks will include story development, game dialogue and general narrative contribution. The ideal candidate will have previous success as a game writer or screenwriter, outstanding communication skills, a good understanding of story and game structure, experience in a writers’ room setting, and an absolute passion to tell great stories in various cinematic mediums.''

Even more interestingly, we learn that the game will be open world:

''Collaborate with content designers, writers and creative staff in creating original narrative content and believable characters for an open world game. Experience in playing open world games.''

Considering that open world games are Sucker Punch’s bread and butter, it’s really not much of a surprise that they’re still betting on their winning horse for their new project. Interestingly, they’re also continuing with the trend set by inFAMOUS: Second Son and stressing on diversity within the cast:

''Collaborate with writers, designers and cinematic artists to write and edit compelling and unique dialogue for a diverse cast of characters.''

At the moment nothing else is know about the new game. It could be another stand-alone expansion like inFAMOUS: First Light, a completely new chapter of the inFAMOUS series, or something else entirely.

Sucker Punch will be present at PlayStation Experience, so we might hear something there.

^^ I thought Sucker Punch were a one team studio. If they're not, then this sounds interesting, if they are, then this is just more inFamous by the sounds of it

Most likely a sequel to Infamous: Second Son or standalone expansion a la First Light. Either way, I'm excited to see what Sucker Punch has in store.
