Imo the best choice.
Mainly because he is a swift assassin, an intelligent tactician and a formidable melee fighter able to take upon 10 ennemies heads on. Plus he seems the more able to understand others tactics. He's only weakness would be that he isn't supposed to know about firing weapon and long range rifle... But I'm sure 2 hours would be enough for him to learn about it.
Big Boss snake is strong and smart, but his prime force is surprise and survival. He's more human than the rest. Outside of pure one vs one, I don't see him knock them all and protect you at the same time. Snake is more infiltration oriented than Big Boss and less strong overall. I like him more than Big Boss, but he's without a doubt weaker than his genetical father.
Sam Fisher and 47 are strong and can definitively be annoying, but they're too human compared to the other. Weaker than Big Boss IMO. *
Jensen is a juggernaut and probably the more powerful of all of the characters in the cover to me, but I wouldn't lend my life to him. I am sure he will survivre the others and maybe kill them all but I am pretty convinced that I will be killed in the process. He's a killing machine but I don't think he's a good protector by any means. Plus, I don't know why but I am sure a 40years old Enzo could manage to kill him, not easily though.
Corvo Attano is more dangerous than Big Boss but weaker than Jensen. He's more dangerous than Ezio, but far from being as smart and as gifted as him. He's just a formidable assassin and fighter. He would be my second pick after Ezio.
Garrett is a joke.
And yes, I take the thing too seriousely.
Never played Resident Evil serie, but Wesker would make the choice way more tricky.
