DerNebel said: Oh, and another thing I actually really liked about Sonys conference is that they didn't go too far in the future, people are bitching about so many games missing and some other things (like no VR demo, yeah I'm sure you would have immensely enjoyed that from your TV), but think about it, the game that is the farthest away from release that they've shown is UC4 other than that it's all 2014 or first half of 2015. Now if you're negative then you could say, that they won't have anything else for 2015 (even though I'd say that The Order 1886, Bloodborne, Ratchet & Clank and UC4 is already a pretty damn good 2015 lineup) but after this E3 I'm actually optimistic that Sony is just trying to announce their games closer to release and I think they only showed UC4 so early because it's such a huge franchise by now and it's a good way to end a conference. I'm making an early prediction now, Sony is going to announce a 2015 retail exclusive at their next E3. Also we still have Gamescom and TGS (and maybe VGX?) this year for some 2015 games announcements. Be optimistic people. |
Gran Tursimo. calling it right now too!
we still have Gamescom, TGS and VGX as you said. 2015 line up already looks impressive but remember there are a lot of studios with unannounced games.
Sony Bend, Guerrilla Games, Media Molecule are three studios that have a strong chance of having 2015 games. also Quantic Dream has been working on a PS4 game for 2 years now, a 2015 holiday release would mean a 3.5 year dev time, very plausable. Sony Santa Monica has a game too, but it only started dev last year, so a 2015 release isnt likely. a 2016 and most possibly a 2017 release will be the case.

so was the white PS4 the hardware you told us about?
PS4 Destiny bundle shot up to #6 on Amazom best sellers. This is going to be huge.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Is that for everyone too (EU)? I'd love a completely white PS4 hardware and accessory set

damn... and normal PS4 is still number 8. you would expect a big drop if another version is climbing the charts. also, PS TV for 99$ on amazon?

Not to be a debbie downer, but it's unlikely that we'll see a GT announcement this side of 2016. The problem is...well, the PS3. Since the PS4 isn't backwards compatible, it suggests to me that Polyphony will run into the same problem they had from PS2 to PS3 with their legacy code. Mainly, that it won't run easily on PS4, and will require a from scratch, approach. As was the case with GT5 taking as long as it did.
So, I'm not entirely sure PD will be talking about a new GT for a couple years, at this point. Especially given how long from announcement to launch GT5 took. Of course, I'm just guessing, but it seems likely.
^i think it's pretty clear PS4 has got June NPD in the bag
oh and wtf -< http://www.amazon.com/The-Order-Premium-Edition-PlayStation-4/dp/B00KVQ78B2/ref=zg_bs_videogames_29
am i missing something, we don't even know the content for it yet and it's already at #29??
edit: nvm, missed the picture with the content
PS TV is $99. Without DS3. If you want DS3 package, it's $139.

PolyPhony already said GT will come in either 2014 or 2015. im guessing they started working on it before GT6 released.
