God that would be so annoying, I won't even play the new GT (I always enjoy a good reveal though), but still until that game is revealed you will have that whole "the next GT won't come out till 2018" or whatever and "GT games constantly get delayed" thing continued to be perpetuated.

As far as I'm aware GT5 was the only game in the series that had to be delayed and that misconception is still going strong until today.

Edit: On the other hand it would leave open a slot for another game that I might actually care for among the 3 SCE WWS reveals left for the year.

E3 2016 seems like the event we'll most likely see GT7. Maybe they'll pull a Fallout 4 and give us a release date as well.

If it's coming out in 2016, there is absolutely no way that they would announced it 4-5 months before release. If not at Paris, then definitely PSX.
