What did you think about Sony's Pre-TGS Conference?

I think some of you guys are counting out Sony's E3 2016 conference too early. Let's wait and see what they got cause the majority of their first-party games under development are yet to be revealed, and new games in two of their biggest IP's will probably be announced at E3 2016.

They can still have a great E3 next year, but they won't be able to top this year I'm sure, also what IPs are you talking about?

Gran Turismo and God Of War.

I think both of those games will be revealed this year, GT in a special event of its own (Tachikoma said it would be revealed in a matter of 6 months back in february or so) I'd say and GoW at PSX.

Honestly both should just be announced at PSX this year, and thats enough for Sony's show along with more Horizon, TLG release date , UC4 multiplayer and release date, SF5 and release date and a new VR game or two.

What was that World of Final Fantasy game they announced right before FFVII about? I think it was PS4 exclusive too

PS4, PS Vita exclusive if I remember correctly.

Kinda makes you see why they would put so much stuff outside of their conference, Until Dawn, Tearaway, probably even the Uncharted Collection (ok that one might be doubtful) would have just been completely overlooked in that conference.

i don't know much about FF VII or Shenmue, but i was happy for those who love them and had their dreams come true. About BC, i have to say, never been a issue to not having it, and my 60Gb PS3 with BC never use more than once to try it out. But now that PS4 has DVR and streaming, i wish i had BC to play my, still BIG, PS3 backlog in my PS4. Fingers crossed. Now the proper thing to discuss, the games: TLG, Horizont, Dreams, SW Battlefront and U4 are just amazing and all will be part of my collection. Will try FF VII if i have the chance. 9.5/10 conference for me.
Also happy that not all rumors were true.

they would have. hell if Media Molecules game is over looked. street fighter 5 is over looked, Until Dawn and Tearaway trailers would have been forgotten (even though they did actually show them a bit).

 

im sad we didnt see more VR titles though. hope to see more of rigs.

I think it's timed exclusive for PS4 and Vita

Looks like they realised that VR is pretty hard to grasp if you don't get hands on experience with it.

That's another thing that seriously surprised me, how little they talked about certain things were dreading to happen: Indies and non-gaming stuff

It was all very limited and worked really well, granted they had a lot of 3rd party stuff to make up for that (why did Batman have to be at the conference? -.-) but it was paced so much better than last year, nothing really overstayed its welcome.
