20 million in 1 year? o.O Can Sony even produce that many consoles?

What? Doesn't have a chance of reaching 20 million LTD end of 2014. Much less to actually reach 20 million in 2014 alone.

It'll have sold 3 million Jan-April. If it pulled another 2 million May-August and a big 7 million Sept-Dec it would only reach 12 million for 2014...
You don't just skip up from 12 to 20 million units. I think 12 is quite optimistic but realistic. PS4 won't be pushing a million a week at holidays, the darn thing's $400!

20M a year is something to big for a ps4 or a 2DS to reach. I don't expect with the current hardware to happen.

No, it's not even trending above 360 in one of its average years where it got 5m~ in the US, Japan is bleak as well.

Europe will be huge but not 20m huge.

2007 and 2008 were 30 million years for the DS.

No way it does 20mil, its currently at almost 4mil now.(16mil in 8 months?) 20mil lifetime might be achieveable by years end but 20mil in 2014 alone? Unless the title is misread?


If they can stock up for xmas they could, but i doubtthey can achive such production.

Simply if theres enough stock they will maintain their sales gap over the comp, if not they lose sales to them.  X1 is no competition in much of the world, PS4 owns those markets.  It all comes down to stock availability.
