The weight classes goes as follows, top to bottom:

- Feather (Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, Baby Rosalina, Lemmy)

- Light (Toad, Toadette, Wendy, Larry, Lakitu, Koopa, Shy Guy)

- Medium (Yoshi, Peach, Daisy)

- Cruiser (Mario, Luigi, Ludwig, Iggy)

- Heavy (Donkey Kong, Roy, Waluigi, Rosalina)

- Metal (Metal Mario, Pink Gold Peach)

- Super Heavy (Bowser, Wario, Morton)

So Wario, Bowser, and Morton will be the most used? Unless handling and grip end up being crucial....

EDIT: Did research on the car/character combo I could be using:

Shy Guy or Toadette w/ Circuit Special, Slick Wheels, and MKTV Parafoil: Speed: 3.75, Acceleration: 2.75, Weight: 3, Handling: 4.25, Grip: 2.25.

Rosalina had one too many geisha balls.

Do they still use the rubber band? If so, do the stats really matter that much?

Also they put Toadette in the second tier? Are they implying Toadette is fat?

It still matters for online play (which is really the only reason you'd choose a character based on stat analysis anyway!)

I thought acceleration was more important than speed- or was that only in the 3DS version with the coin system?
