Call of Duty or Destiny?

Call of Duty 127 65.80%

Destiny 47 24.35%

Ima go buy Activision stock 17 8.81%

Total:191

If Destiny turns into a franchise the second game could achieve that or at least sell on pair with cod. I say that just because of preorder numbers, its going to be huge. But this time I'll go with cod.

CoD would sell the most even if Destiny was on Wii U and CoD wasn't.

I will permaban myself if the game releases in 2014.

in reference to KH3 release date

I'm hoping Destiny will beat it but it most likely won't.

CoD on just 360/ps3 will outsell Destiny on all platforms. Both games will still sell great though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the lead platform for activision has changed to PS4.

Seems unlikely since the new trailer used Xbox One footage and since the Xbox timed DLC exclusivity deal is continuing.

I heard that Activision made PS4 the leading platform. It doesn't make sense why activision companies would make use different leading platforms.

The Call of Duty franchise has been established for 10 years. Destiny is a new IP. Call of Duty has been known to be one of the highest selling games annually. Destiny should sell roughly around a Halo game does. I think Advanced Warfare will sell more but I personally think Destiny will be the better game. Destiny should sell at least 10 mil by the end of the year being multiplatform.

Keep in mind that this installment is being developed by Sledgehammer Games so will probably distinguish itself farther from the IW and Treyarch titles. I skipped out on Ghosts since I consider MW3 the worst CoD and was convinced IW would go downhill from there. While Sledgehammer did assist in development in MW3, i'd like to see what they can do independently. With BF4 being virtually unplayable months after release, I may pick this one up as more info is dished out. I will most definitely pick up Destiny to see how the MMORPG is implemented in a shooter by Bungie.

CoD, by a large amount too. Destiny is destined to be the better game. Could get bigger too than cod.... In a few years...

correct recent rumors have been pointing to this aswell as ghosts being superior on PS4

Lead platform has literally nothing to do with which platform gets DLC first and logos at the end of this trailer is just strategic marketing deals and nothing more

althought there is a greater chance for AW to be lead on XB1 then last years ghosts i would still wait till we get more info or even till the game releases and DF releases there face offs

Don't really care as neither look worth buying

if I had to guess i'd say COD.
ideally both of them would flop.
